  Better, but no thanks to Trump, just the American economy that always rewards hard work under Democrats or Republicans. I have been through Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, Obama and now Trump. Never noticed a difference in my bank account. Always healthier!

  Patriotism is a form of tribalism. The pledge of allegiance is one of the indoctrination tactics that the tribe uses. Trump supporters love their tribe, their sacred text ( Constitution and Bible), their pledge of allegiance.

  I just had a conversation with a proud father from India. his son an M.D. and M.B.A. His son is an example of what's going in the U.S. Universities filled with Indians and East Asians. Meanwhile white Midwesterners and the Southerners very proud of their European roots, their white heritage, their Christian values, their guns and their high school diplomas. Sad story. European thinkers, philosophers, artists and scientists were the best of the best. That's changing. From the founding fathers to Trump, what an abysmal drop.

  i find this alarming because jones was very outspoken and had great guests on discussing topics most other media outlets wouldn't go near.. the fact that many have restricted him access to their medium what does this say on our freedoms of speech?.

  Congregation Reassignments in Ohio?

  from what i understand, a letter was read this past week in regards to congregation reassignments and that the elders want to meet with people at their homes to tell them where they have been reassigned.

  obviously, this would be due to the merging and dissolution of congregations.

  can anyone confirm this?.

  Liberal vs. Democrat in the U.S.A.

  it seems that many believe that a liberal in the usa must be a democrat, pretty much following the party core teachings and some even think it means approving the party history of, during the 19th century, supporting or tolerated slavery and opposing civil rights reforms after the civil war.

  History is important, but irrelevant when it comes to present facts. Help me here those who know better, but I feel that racism is not necessarily attached to the political party, it's more likely it to be attached to the individual or the tribe. More specifically, the proslavery South was Democrat until recently, now is Republican. Am I supposed to believe that Southerners have become enlightened by switching parties. I don't think so. Racist views remain for generations and have very little to do with Democrat or Republican labels. That's not to say that all Southerners, or even most Southerners are racist. They just tend to be above average when compared to other states.
